What Circles is
Circles is a small, privacy-first mobile messaging app made for staying in touch with the people you actually know — family, close friends, the group chat that matters. You create a Circle, you invite people you know, and you talk.
Circles is published by Circles Messaging and Media LLC, a limited liability company registered in Ohio, United States and formed in May 2026. The app is currently in a closed friends beta on iOS (TestFlight) and Android (Google Play Internal Testing) as we work toward a public release. You can read more about the company on our About page.
What you can do in the app
Private messaging
Direct and group conversations inside private Circles you create and control. Membership is invite-only.
Photo sharing
Share photos with the people in a Circle.
Dynasty Tracker
An optional tool for organized game groups: upload a roster screenshot and the app reads ready / not-ready status from the image.
Profile & account control
Choose your display name, and change or delete your account at any time.

How sign-up works
Account sign-up is by mobile phone number, verified with a one-time text-message code. We use SMS verification because it is the simplest way to confirm a real person without collecting more data than necessary.
The flow, step by step
- You download Circles from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- You open the app and tap Sign up.
- You enter your mobile phone number on the sign-up screen and tap Send Code. A consent notice is displayed directly beneath the Send Code button before you confirm (shown in the screenshot below).
- Circles sends you a one-time 6-digit verification code by SMS from +1 (513) 599-8822.
- You enter the code in the app to verify and complete account creation.

Full SMS opt-in terms
By entering your phone number and tapping Send Code, you consent to receive a one-time SMS verification code from Circles to confirm your account. Message frequency is one message per sign-in attempt. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not share or sell mobile opt-in information or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing. See the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for details.

Frequency and content
SMS from Circles is strictly transactional: a one-time verification code, sent only when you initiate a sign-up or sign-in. Circles does not send marketing messages, promotions, or broadcast messages by SMS. If you do not initiate sign-in, you will not receive a text.
Privacy and data
Circles collects only what it needs to operate: your phone number (for sign-in), your chosen display name, the messages you send inside your Circles, and any photos you upload to Dynasty Tracker. We do not collect your location, contacts, or device identifiers, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
