These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Circles Messaging and Media LLC, a limited liability company registered in Ohio, United States ("CirclesMM," "we," or "us"), governing your use of the CirclesMM mobile app and related services. By creating an account or using CirclesMM, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Who can use CirclesMM
CirclesMM is intended for adults 18 years of age or older and is currently available only in the United States. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 13 to create an account. If you are the parent or guardian of a child whose information appears in the app, contact us at contact@circlesmm.com.
Acceptable Use & zero-tolerance policy
CirclesMM has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. By using CirclesMM, you agree that you will not post, send, or share content, or engage in conduct, that is:
- harassing, bullying, threatening, or intended to intimidate another person;
- hateful or discriminatory, including content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age;
- sexually explicit, or any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor (we report suspected child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities);
- violent, or that incites or glorifies violence or self-harm;
- unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or that promotes illegal activity;
- spam, or an attempt to scam, phish, or impersonate another person or organization;
- infringing on someone else's intellectual-property rights; or
- a violation of another person's privacy, including sharing someone's personal information without their consent.
You are solely responsible for the content you post and the way you interact with others. Content you share is not reviewed or endorsed by CirclesMM before it appears.
Reporting, blocking & enforcement
CirclesMM provides tools to keep the community safe. Any user can report a message or user, and can block another user to stop all further contact. Reports are reviewed and acted on promptly — we aim to respond within 24 hours. We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Group owners may also remove members from a group they own.
Termination & account deletion
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account) or at circlesmm.com/delete-account.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
CirclesMM is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Circles Messaging and Media LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or from content shared by other users.
Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of CirclesMM after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
SMS Terms & Conditions
The following terms govern the text messages sent by the CirclesMM mobile app. By signing up for CirclesMM and requesting a verification code, you agree to these SMS Terms.
Program description
The CirclesMM SMS program sends one-time account verification codes (OTP) to the mobile number you enter during sign-up or sign-in. These messages are strictly transactional. CirclesMM does not send marketing, promotional, or recurring broadcast messages on this program.
How you opt in
You opt in at the point of sign-up: you enter your mobile phone number on the in-app sign-up screen and tap Send Code. A consent notice is shown directly beneath the Send Code button at the moment of opt-in:
Consent to receive verification messages is given directly to CirclesMM. It is not bundled into any other agreement and is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency
Message frequency is one message per sign-in attempt. A message is sent only when you initiate a sign-up or sign-in. If you do not initiate sign-in, you will not receive a message.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. CirclesMM does not charge for verification messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply depending on your plan.
HELP — getting support
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at contact@circlesmm.com. Our HELP auto-reply is:
STOP — opting out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) to any message. After you opt out, CirclesMM will send a single confirmation message and will not send further verification codes to that number. To opt back in, reply START or request a new code from within the app.
Your mobile information is not shared
CirclesMM does not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information or SMS consent data with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information collected through the SMS opt-in is shared with third parties for marketing. We share data only with the service providers strictly necessary to deliver the verification message and operate the app (for example, our SMS delivery provider). These providers act on our behalf and are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Carrier liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
